Let's be clear: we care about privacy. ProksiAbel OÜ runs proksiabel.ee. This policy explains what little data we actually collect when you visit. We don't track you across the web.
Yes, this complies with the GDPR and Estonian data laws. We follow the rules.

What We Actually Collect
The Technical Stuff
When you hit our site, our servers grab the bare minimum needed to keep the lights on and stop DDoS attacks:
- Your IP address (kept strictly for security logs and then dumped)
- Browser and OS details
- Where you clicked from
- How long you stayed on a page
- Timestamps
We use Cloudflare Analytics. It doesn't drop tracking cookies, and we cannot isolate your specific identity from it.
What You Give Us
When you fill out the contact form, you give us:
- A name (if you want)
- An email address
- Whatever you type in the message box
Why We Process This
Consent
You sent us an email or form. We need to process it to reply. You can tell us to delete it anytime.
Legitimate Interest
We log traffic to stop hackers and scrapers. It is literally our job to care about security.
Legal Obligation
If a court orders us to hand something over, we have to comply.
What We Do With It
We keep it simple:
- We read your messages and reply.
- We check our analytics to see if the site is working.
- We block malicious traffic.
- We follow the law.
Who Else Sees It
We do not sell your data. Period. We only share it with:
- Our hosting and infrastructure providers (like Cloudflare). They are GDPR compliant.
- Law enforcement, but only if they show up with a valid warrant.
Any data leaving the EU gets handled strictly according to GDPR Chapter V.
How Long We Keep It
We don't hoard logs forever:
- Security logs: 12 months, because Estonian cybersecurity laws require it.
- Emails/Forms: Until we finish doing business, or you ask us to delete them.
- Analytics: Cloudflare handles this, and it is entirely aggregated.
How We Protect It
We are a security company. We take this seriously:
- Everything runs over TLS.
- Strict access controls on our end.
- We collect almost nothing to begin with.
Your GDPR Rights
You own your data. Here is what you can ask us to do:
- Access - Ask for a copy of what we have.
- Fix - Tell us to correct typos.
- Delete - Tell us to wipe you from our systems.
- Limit - Tell us to stop processing it for a bit.
- Export - Get your data in a clean format.
- Object - Tell us you hate our legitimate interest claim.
- Complain - Go to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (AKI) if we mess up.
Email info@proksiabel.ee to make any of this happen. We have 30 days to reply by law, but we are usually much faster.
Cookies (Or Lack Thereof)
We hate annoying cookie banners as much as you do. So we built the site to avoid them.
We use Cloudflare Analytics. It uses exactly zero cookies to track you. Since we only use strictly technical security cookies, we do not need to spam you with a consent pop-up.
The only cookies we drop are _cf_bm and _cfuvid. They stop DDoS attacks. They do not track your shopping habits.
To be absolutely clear: We DO NOT use Google Analytics. We DO NOT run ads. We DO NOT profile you.
Updates
If we change this policy, we will update the text here. If it is a massive change, we might put a notice on the homepage.
Just check the date at the top to see if anything is new.
